This service provides monthly updates on Forestry Division news, programs and funding opportunities. It also serves to update the public on wildfires threatening communities.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Wildfire updates will only distribute information about large wildfires on state or private land in New Mexico, not fires burning on federal land such as national forests.<\/p>\n

The only required information is a valid email address and the county where you live. Your information will be kept strictly confidential and will not be used for any purpose other than wildfire notifications.<\/p>\n

For current fire restrictions check the\u00a0New Mexico Fire Information<\/a> website.
Not all restrictions may be listed. Check with your local fire department or government agency for more information.<\/p>\n
