Minimum order sizes are 49 seedlings per species (49 seedlings = one lot) for fall distribution and 294 seedlings (six lots) for spring distribution.

Because statewide demand for seedlings far exceeds supply, we recommend submitting requests one to two years prior to planting using the Seedling Request Form. Advance seedling requests help the Forestry Division procure the required species and quantities in time to support successful conservation work.

We also maintain a smaller same-year ordering inventory, though pricing may be higher to reflect added costs associated with this service. Same‑year ordering runs from the first Monday in July through mid‑October for fall distribution and is no longer available for spring pickup.

[/et_pb_text][/et_pb_column_inner][et_pb_column_inner type=”1_2″ saved_specialty_column_type=”3_4″ _builder_version=”4.27.6″ _module_preset=”default” global_colors_info=”{}”][et_pb_image src=”https://www.emnrd.nm.gov/sfd/wp-content/uploads/sites/4/CSP_Planting-Season-Comparison.jpg” title_text=”CSP_Planting Season Comparison” align=”center” force_fullwidth=”on” _builder_version=”4.27.6″ _module_preset=”default” global_colors_info=”{}”][/et_pb_image][/et_pb_column_inner][/et_pb_row_inner][et_pb_row_inner _builder_version=”4.27.6″ _module_preset=”default”][et_pb_column_inner saved_specialty_column_type=”3_4″ _builder_version=”4.27.6″ _module_preset=”default”][et_pb_text _builder_version=”4.27.6″ _module_preset=”default” hover_enabled=”0″ sticky_enabled=”0″]

Please note that we do not anticipate offering seedlings for Spring 2027 distribution.
