Invasive Plants<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Invasive plants threaten forested lands and can spread to other areas if left untreated. The Forestry Division works closely with the New Mexico Department of Agriculture and other partners across the state to limit the spread of invasives and to improve wildlife habitat and protect natural resources.<\/p>\n

The Forestry Division will not be accepting applications for the Invasive Plant Program (IPP) at this time. Forestry Division works closely with and contributes funds to NMDA\u2019s Noxious Weed program, with a focus on projects that improve the health of forested lands.<\/span><\/p>\n

We encourage cooperators to apply to\u00a0<\/span>NM Department of Agriculture Noxious Weed program<\/span><\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n
