New Mexico State Parks does not recommend one course provider over another. Some courses are free, others charge a fee<\/strong>. The fee is determined solely at the discretion of the course provider. You do not have to register for the course to access the online study guide. Print versions of the study guide are also available upon request. Although paddle sports education is not required, all participants are responsible for learning the state laws and regulations to stay safe on the water.<\/p>\n Understanding the Basics of Aids to Navigation When Boating Microcourse<\/a> is designed to help boaters understand the meaning of basic buoys and markers.
