This makes it an excellent location for all types of paddle craft.<\/p>\n<p>Heron Lake also offers amazing sailing, cross-country skiing, and hiking. The park is also an anglers&#8217; paradise, with record-size trout and kokanee salmon. Ice fishing is very popular in winter.
