These changes include differentiation in resident and non-resident camping and day-use fees. global_colors_info=&#8221;{}&#8221;][et_pb_text _builder_version=&#8221;4.27.4&#8243; _module_preset=&#8221;default&#8221; global_colors_info=&#8221;{}&#8221;]<\/p>\n<h3>Specialized Camping<\/h3>\n<h4>Group Camping:<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>Camping areas for large groups usually feature a large group shelter.<\/li>\n<li>Requires advance reservation fee for the group shelter ($30 or $50) in addition to camping or day-use fees for each vehicle.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>RV Rally Sites:<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>Areas set aside for groups of RVs, such as on a beach.<\/li>\n<li>A reservation fee is required for the area in addition to camping or day-use fees for each vehicle.\n<ul>\n<li>Groups of 30 or less $135<\/li>\n<li>Groups of 30 or more $180<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>Equestrian Camping:<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>Usually, a small corral is provided.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>Walk-In Campsites:<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>Intended for tent camping, the campsites are set apart from the parking area, requiring a short walk.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Stay Limit<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>During the busy season, campers may stay in a park for a maximum of seven (7) days out of any 20-day calendar period from May 1st through September 30th.<\/li>\n<li>In the off season, campers may stay in a park for a maximum of 14 days out of any 20-day calendar period from October 1st through April 30th.<\/li>\n<li>Campers must remove all camping equipment and gear from the park for the above schedules.<\/li>\n<li>The exception is at Hyde Memorial State Park \u2013 the campsites with electric hookups have a 7-day limit year-round.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Pets<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Pet owners shall pick up after their pets and maintain the area in a clean and sanitary condition.<\/li>\n<li>Pet owners shall restrain pets on leashes that are not more than 10 feet in length.<\/li>\n<li>Pet owners shall not leave their pets unattended in vehicles or campsites.<\/li>\n<li>Pet owners shall prevent their pets from excessive barking, howling, and making loud noises,<br \/>so as not to disturb others.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>More About Camping<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Quiet hours are between 10:00 pm and 7:00 am<\/li>\n<li>Campers shall not save or reserve camping spaces for others even by purchasing additional permits.<\/li>\n<li>Campsite check-out time is 2:00 p.m.<\/li>\n<li>Campers may not retain and leave vacant a campsite for more than 24 hours.<\/li>\n<li>Vehicles in the park between 9:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m. are subject to camping fees.<\/li>\n<li>Visitors may be required to pay fees for their entire stay in advance (rather than daily) for<br \/>weekends, holidays, or special events.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>[\/et_pb_text][\/et_pb_column_inner][\/et_pb_row_inner][\/et_pb_column][\/et_pb_section]<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>REMINDER: On January 1, 2025, the New Mexico State Parks Division implemented changes to its Fees and Boating Rules.
