PUBLIC NOTICE

Rockhound State park has failed to provide public notice for deficiencies in our park’s public water system.  These deficiencies have been corrected, and proper documentation has been submitted to the New Mexico Environment Department.  You do not have to boil water or take other actions to treat the water.

The rugged slopes of the Little Florida Mountains are the setting for this park, which boasts trails, unique geology, wildflower displays, and a peaceful campground.

The stunning scenery of the Spring Canyon unit of the park provides a peaceful area for hiking or picnicking.
