Notice of Proposed Rulemaking for 18.17.2 NMAC
EMNRD will hold a public hearing on the proposed rule amendments for 18.17.2 NMAC at 9:00 a.m. on Wednesday, January 31, 2023, at the New Mexico Law Enforcement Academy Auditorium, 4491 Cerrillos Rd, Santa Fe, NM.
Those wishing to comment on the proposed rule amendment may make oral comments, submit information at the hearing, or submit written comments by January 31, 2023, by 9:00 a.m. by mail or email. The New Mexico State Parks Advisory Board will hold its virtual meeting on December 19, 2022 and will use the video conference and teleconferencing application Webex. With this, you may join the meeting online or by telephone starting at 10:00 AM on Monday, December 19, 2022.
The purpose of the meeting of the New Mexico State Parks Advisory Board meeting is to discuss the following: personnel hiring status and introductions, legislative session, park master and management planning, land and water conservation program, reservation system, park advisory board membership, and committee reports.

The meeting will be held at the Energy, Minerals and Natural Resources Department located at 1220 South St. Francis Santa Fe, NM from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
The purpose of the meeting is to discuss various issues affecting New Mexico State Parks including legislative update, the Next Generation of Adventure, Outdoor Recreation Updates, the Statewide Comprehensive Outdoor Recreation Plan, State Park fees and upcoming events. In addition, committees to work on specific park issues may be established.

Based on the Public Health Emergency declared by the Governor, and guidelines for public gatherings set out by the Department of Health, as well as direction from the Attorney General, the NM State Parks Advisory Board Meeting will hold its October 7, 2020 meeting virtually.

The purpose of the meeting is to discuss various issues affecting New Mexico State Parks including Adoption of Open Meeting Act Resolution, Election of Chair and discussion of Board structure, Overview of NM State Parks, Mission and Overview, Parks and Regions, Park Programs, Organization Structure, Next Generation of Adventure Initiative Discussion, Parks Expansion Opportunities, Pecos Canyon State Park, Mesilla Valley Bosque State Park, Sugarite Canyon State Park, Partnership with Office of the Outdoor Recreation.
