Statewide Comprehensive Outdoor Recreation Plan (SCORP)
Each state is required to develop a SCORP at least every five years. This is a requirement of the Land and Water Conservation Fund Act (LWCF) of 1965. The intent of the SCORP is to identify how state and federal expenditures will support outdoor recreation acquisition and development projects.
