Parks Advisory Board
The New Mexico State Parks Advisory Board is structured to provide advice and make recommendations relating to the administration of the State Parks Division of the Energy, Minerals, & Natural Resources Department. It advises on all matters of policy, regulations, the formulation of a comprehensive statewide recreation plan, and such other matters as may be requested by the Division Director. The Advisory Board is essential in supporting the State Parks Division’s Mission to protect and enhance natural and cultural resources, provide first-class recreational and education facilities and opportunities, and promote public safety to benefit and enrich the lives of visitors.
NM State Parks Advisory Board (PAB) Meeting December 4, 2024
The New Mexico State Parks Advisory Board (PAB) will hold its regular meeting on
Wednesday, December 4, 2024, at 1312 Basehart Rd, SE, Albuquerque, NM 87106. It will also be available for participation using the video and teleconferencing application Webex. You may join the meeting in person, online, or by telephone starting at 10:00 AM.
The purpose is to discuss state park fees, the central reservation system, capital outlay projects, the legislative session 2025, the citizen science working group report, employee recognition, and committee reports. The following documents are available for download in PDF format before the

The New Mexico State Parks Advisory Board will hold a regular meeting on Wednesday, September 4, 2024. The meeting will be held at the Wendell Chino Building, State Parks Conference Room 2nd Floor, 1220 South St. Francis Drive, Santa Fe, NM 87505. This meeting will also be available for participation by using the video conference and teleconferencing application Webex. You may join the meeting in person, online, or by telephone starting at 10:00 AM.
The purpose of the meeting of the New Mexico State Parks Advisory Board is to introduce new senior and executive staff, present the agency’s personnel vacancy status, discuss the reclassification of essential positions, legislative interim committee presentations, the Broad Canyon Ranch Feasibility Study, the state parks fees initiative, a state parks focused economic study, review Open Meetings Act guidance, and present information on Land and Water Conservation Fund project awards.
