Acting Deputy Cabinet Secretary – Ben Shelton 

Ben Shelton was appointed Acting Deputy Secretary of the Energy, Minerals and Natural Resources Department in July 2024. In addition to serving as actining deputy secretary, he continues to perform the duties of the agency’s general counsel.
