The interactive map below describes mitigation treatments within New Mexico. Data is based on vegatation, past fire history, slope and topograhpy. Clicking throuh the map presents communities state-wide that can benefit from future mitigation efforts. Mitigation efforts are  activities such as vegetation removal, home hardening and ordinance adoption, along with increased education and outreach.
