Request for Proposals for Climate Adaptation Partnerships Project  

The State of New Mexico, Energy, Minerals and Natural Resources Department (EMNRD), Energy Conservation and Management Division (ECMD) is requesting proposals from individuals, firms, and institutions of higher education to conduct climate education and outreach with government agencies, local and tribal governments, non-profit organizations, and the public in the state of New Mexico.

The successful Offeror will focus on working with stakeholders to better understand risks and vulnerabilities associated with the natural hazards likely to increase due to climate change and promote a common understanding of the concepts of climate adaptation and resilience across the state.

ECMD will conduct a non-mandatory pre-proposal conference for potential Offerors at 10 a.m. MST on December 06, 2022, via WebEx. Interested parties will have an opportunity to be briefed on this procurement and to ask questions about the RFP procurement process. Please contact the ECMD Contact Person, Robert Gomez, Robert.Gomez@emnrd.nm.gov to request a meeting invitation.

Offerors shall submit one proposal in PDF format to the Contact Person via email at Robert.Gomez@emnrd.nm.gov no later than 3 p.m. MT December 20, 2022. EMNRD shall not accept proposals received after this date and shall make absolutely no exceptions for proposals not received by the appointed time.

Request for Applications for Grid Modernization Grant Program

The State of New Mexico, Energy, Minerals and Natural Resources Department (EMNRD)
Energy Conservation and Management Division (ECMD) is requesting applications from
public entities for grid modernization technical assessments, demonstration projects, and monitoring evaluations to assist New Mexico in developing a modern electric grid that transitions the state to 100-percent zero-carbon electricity resources.
